YEREVAN, 27 MARCH, ARMENPRESS. Minister of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia Hranush Hakobyan ended her working visit to Australia. As the Department of Media and Public Relations of the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, on the way back to Armenia, the minister had a  meeting and conversation with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the United Arab Emirates Gegham Gharibjanyan in Abu Dhabi.

In the evening, the RA Minister of Diaspora will participate in the Palm Sunday (Tsakhkazard) ceremony and Holy Mass by head of the Dprevank Monastery, Father, Archimandrite Torgom Donoian at the newly built Holy Martyrs’ Church of Abu Dhabi. The ceremony will be officiated by Patriarchal Vicar in the UAE and Qatar, Reverend Father Mesrob Sarkissian.

The Holy Mass will be followed by a wreath-laying ceremony near the cross-stone (khachkar) dedicated to the memory of martyrs in the churchyard and the minister’s meeting with representatives of the local Armenian community at the Armenian Prelacy of Abu Dhabi.
