Dashnaktsutyun MP reflects on coalition and seven points

YEREVAN, 27 MARCH, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian Revolutionary Federation – Dashnaktsutyun has noticed a progress in the implementation process of 7 points, which were proposed to the authorities. The Chairman of the ARF parliamentary faction, MP Armen Rustamyan stressed this at the National Assembly briefing, touching upon rumors regarding the ARF’s joining the coalition.

“We have said, say and continue saying that the ARF-Dashnaktsutyun is a party, which acts on ideological political basis. It cannot be in any alliance, where its ideological and political approaches are not respected. Therefore, to make it clear to all Armenians and everyone, we have released 7 points, about which we have been talking for already 12 years, but we haven’t reached their solution. The ARF’s joining them depends on those 7 points. Now we have a situation, that a progress is recorded related to the implementation of 7 points. We are very glad for that, and perhaps it is the reason why some desire to see the ARF in the coalition," as “Armenpress” reports Rustamyan underlined.

He emphasized, that definite steps are taken in the direction of the transition to the parliamentary system, which is one of their main proposals. “The Armenian-Turkish protocols have been withdrawn from the Parliament. There are conversations about the radical changes to the electoral system, the necessity of separating businesses from the authority and stop the economic monopoly, etc. Yes, those are the things we proposed requirements are recorded in the 7 points”, Rustamyan highlighted.
