Armenia is trying to combine powers’ interests and not become zone for contradictions:
Armen Ashotyan

YEREVAN, 26 MARCH, ARMENPRESS. As it leads its foreign policy, the Republic of Armenia is guided by its state and national interests and tries to combine the interests of powers and never become a zone for contradictions. This is what Vice-Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia Armen Ashotyan mentioned during a press conference in parliament today, in response to the question as to whether or not there would be changes in Armenia’s foreign policy, taking into account the latest developments. “We have a strategic partnership with the Russian Federation, we attach great importance to the growing relations with the European Union and the United States, and you are witnessing the deepening partnership with China. All this shows that Armenia is leading a multivector foreign policy,” he emphasized, as “Armenpress” reports.

In response to the observation that the Armenian authorities had always said that Russia’s sale of weapons to Azerbaijan was a business plan for years and that now Serzh Sargsyan is expressing public concerns about that, Armen Ashotyan said that statement goes to show that the history, heritage and the culture of partnership between Armenia and Russia are such that the sides can and must speak clearly about all the issues. “Both Russia and Armenia can share their thoughts and problems with each other. This is not the effect of poor relations;. On the contrary, this is the result of great relations where it’s possible to speak out and talk clearly about all the issues,” he concluded.
