YEREVAN, MARCH 26, ARMENPRESS. The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan had a meeting with Li Keqiang, Premier of the PRC State Council on March 26. The Mass Media and Public Relations Department of the Armenian President’s Office informed “Armenpress” that the interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues on the expansion of bilateral ties in a row of prospective fields of mutual interest, as well as the full realization of the Armenian-Chinese collaboration potential for the benefit of the two friendly peoples. It encompassed the spheres of energy, transport, chemical industry, education, science, culture, agriculture, aviation, tourism, infrastructures development and a number of other fields.

The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and the Premier of the PRC State Council Li Keqiang attached high significance to the activities of the Armenian-Chinese Joint Committee on Trade-Economic Cooperation in the respect of implementation of all the agreed directions of bilateral cooperation.

Among other things, the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan stated that Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union opens new and bigger opportunities for the expansion of the Armenian-Chinese economic relations.
