BUCHAREST, 24 MARCH, ARMENPRESS. Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Romania Hamlet Gasparyan had a meeting with Minister of Culture of Romania Ioan Vulpescu. During the meeting, the sides expressed satisfaction with the positive dynamics of cultural partnership within the framework of the 2011-15 “Cooperation in the Fields of Culture, Education and Science” interstate program and underscored the need to extend the agreement for the next stage.

As the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, the sides discussed the cultural heritage of both countries, particularly issues on examining, preserving and presenting the cultural heritage.

Ambassador Gasparyan presented the cultural events to be held in 2015, including the Gurdjieff Folk Instruments Ensemble’s concert in Bucharest on 26 May and the organizing of global readings of texts devoted to the Armenian Genocide in Bucharest and other cities across Romania on 26 April, as well as other events.
