It's official: "Frozen 2" is happening

YEREVAN, MARCH 13, ARMENPRESS. The House of Mouse finally confirmed Thursday that Queen Elsa and company will return for a second adventure. And while the entire cast for the sequel isn’t yet set in stone, it’s safe to assume Kristen Bell (Princess Anna) and Josh Gad (Olaf) will be coming back for round two.

As reports “Armenpress” citing New York Post, while the story for “Frozen 2” is being kept under wraps, Disney execs promise that the minds behind the original, Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, have something epic up their sleeves.

“We enjoyed making ‘Frozen Fever’ so much and being back in that world with those characters,” says John Lasseter, the chief creative officer of Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios. “Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck have come up with a great idea for a sequel, and you will be hearing a lot more about it, and we’re taking you back to Arendelle.”

The release date for “Frozen 2” isn’t confirmed, but we’ve come up with a wish list of what we hope to see in the highly anticipated flick.

After an engagement gone awry, Princess Anna (Bell) has found the love of her life in iceman Kristoff (Jonathan Groff). And considering they’ve had more than a day to get to know each other, we’re banking that Sven’s BFF pops the question to Elsa’s (Idina Menzel) baby sis in “Frozen 2.” Plus, who wouldn’t want to see Olaf officiate the nuptials?

Disney is all about making happily-ever-afters come true, so it’s time the adorable snowman gets a love of his own. Arendelle’s most eligible snowman can charm the pants off just about anyone, including an ice queen.

OK, we may be recycling the villain this time around, but something tells us Hans (Santino Fontana) didn’t go back quietly to the Southern Isles. What if the sleazy prince came back to attack Arendelle with his brothers in tow? Could Queen Elsa fend them off? The possibilities are endless.

Elsa is the definition of an independent woman. She has the power and the sass — but, like Olaf, deserves some loving. We’re not saying she should throw caution to the wind and fall for the first man she sees, but there’s a special someone out there who can definitely warm the snow queen’s “Frozen” heart.
