0.2% deflation recorded in consumer market

YEREVAN, 6 MARCH, ARMENPRESS. Armenia recorded a 0.2% deflation in February2015 compared to January 2015, which was mainly due to the 0.7% deflation of foods. As the National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, in that period, prices for food dropped by 0.6%, and prices and tariffs for non-foods and services rose by 0.2% and 0.7%, respectively.
Compared to December 2014, the consumer price index made up 102.3%, including the prices for food products (103.5%), the prices for non-food products (101.2%) and the tariffs for services (100.8%).
