Armenia’s GDP exceeds 4,5 trillion drams

YEREVAN, MARCH 5, ARMENPRESS: The gross domestic product of the Republic of Armenia made 4 trillion 525 billion 875 million drams in 2014, which is more by 3,4% than the indicator of the year of 2013. Thus in the previous year the economic growth by 3,4% was registered. The Head of the Department for Macroeconomic Indicators and National Accounts of the National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia Lyusya Khachatryan told about it at the meeting with the journalists, stating that the issue refers to the GDP, calculated by the production method.
“We calculate the gross domestic product by three methods – production, revenues use and income formation. In the calculation with the production method we have as the basis the summary information, collected from the citizens and the state bodies by the National Statistical Service”, - told Khachatryan, Armenpress reports.
