Armenia and Ukraine to sign readmission agreement

YEREVAN, 3 MARCH, ARMENPRESS. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Armenia Ivan Kukhta visited on March 3 the State Migration Service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia with the accompaniment of Consul Valentin Kuzichkin.

As the Department of Public Relations of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, the sides discussed the state of signing of the agreement on readmission between Armenia and Ukraine and mentioned that the process of matching the texts of the document is over and reached an agreement on the signing of the document as soon as possible.

At the request of Ukraine’s Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Kukhta, Head of the State Migration Service Gagik Yeganyan provided statistics on citizens of Ukraine seeking shelter in the Republic of Armenia, as well as the amendments made to the migration laws of member states of the Eurasian Economic Union due to Armenia’s accession to the EEU and the steps taken to inform Armenian labor migrants about those amendments.
