There should be no illiteracy in the political field: Sharmazanov
YEREVAN, 26 FEBRUARY, ARMENPRESS. All non-political phenomena must stay far away from politics in the Republic of Armenia. This is what speaker of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov said during a press conference following the session of the RPA Executive Body. “We haven’t changed our opinion. We have given evaluations that were balanced, moderate and realistic. There were no insults. All the evaluations that were given and discussed during the session of the RPA Executive Body and later during the session of the political council were exclusively political,”Sharmazanov mentioned, as “Armenpress” reports.
According to him, the evaluations remain unchanged, and the impression that the RPA regrets the statements that it made in the past, is wrong. He reiterated the fact that all non-political phenomena, including “half literacy and illiteracy, solving issues through stubbornness” must not be a part of the political culture.
