YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 26, ARMENPRESS. Ambassador Grigor Arakelyan had a meeting with the First Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Morteza Sarmadi on February 25 on the occasion of completion of the Armenian diplomat’s mission.

The Press, Information, and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia informed “Amenpress” that the First Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Morteza Sarmadi reflected on the historically friendly relations between the two countries and stated that Iran attaches special importance to the ties with neighboring countries. Among other things, the First Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Morteza Sarmadi noted that the top-level mutual visits between the two countries prove that there is no obstacle for the expansion and development of the Armenian-Iranian relations.
