YEREVAN, 20 FEBRUARY, ARMENPRESS. On February 20, Head of the Department of Defense Policies at the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Levon Ayvazyan received Head of the Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross to Armenia Sarah Epprecht. As the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, the sides discussed the current issues relating to cooperation and the upcoming programs for the promotion and integration of international humanitarian law.

During the meeting, the sides signed the 2015 Cooperation Plan, which includes various educational programs devoted to international humanitarian law, as well as events aimed at raising awareness about capacity building for science and methodology and international humanitarian law within the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia and among society.
