STEPANAKERT, JANUARY 31, ARMENPRESS. In accordance with the operative data of the Defense Army of Nagorno Karabakh Republic, within the period ranging from January 25 to January 31, the rival violated the ceasefire regime for about 2200 times on the line of contact of Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing armies. More than 40 thousand bullets were fired towards our troops during this period. The rival used small arms, 60 mm mortars, as well as different types of grenade launchers.

The Press Service of the Ministry of Defense of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic informed “Armenpress” that besides the aforesaid violations, the rival made subversive penetration attempts, which were detected on time and thrown back. Due to the responsive actions of the frontier units of the Defense Army, the rival suffered at least 3 casualties and injured. Defense Army had no losses.
