Hayk Demoyan expects to see temporary exhibitions in more than 100 sites abroad
YEREVAN, 30 JANUARY, ARMENPRESS. There will be 25 temporary exhibitions devoted to the Armenian Genocide in different countries around the world. This is what Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Hayk Demoyan said during a press conference. According to him, those exhibitions will serve as serious tools to raise the level of foreigners’ awareness and to lead the struggle for remembrance of the genocide and against denial.“Currently, it is known that there are 40 sites where exhibitions will be held. I think there will be more than 100 sites before April,” Hayk Demoyan said, adding that there will be catalogs at each exhibition since it is a mandatory condition for temporary exhibitions, as “Armenpress” reports.
According to the director of the museum-institute, representatives of the museum-institute are working hard on interior design. “I suggest we be patient. Only after the museum is ready to open its doors will there be a tour. We expect to open the museum on April 24th for the main exhibition,” Hayk Demoyan informed.
