YEREVAN, 27 JANUARY, ARMENPRESS. President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan sent today a congratulatory message to Prime Minister of the Republic of Greece Alexis Tsipras on the occasion of his party’s victory in the Greek parliamentary elections and on his appointment in the office of Prime Minister of Greece.

 “I am certain that, under your leadership, the years to come will be years of uplift for Greece and strengthening of the country’s role in the world.

 The relations and cooperation between Armenia and Greece are hinged on the fraternal relations, mutual assistance and confidence between our nations. I fully hope that, as Prime Minister of Greece, you will be committed to the deepening of the high-level Armenian-Greek interstate relations and that the large agenda of cooperation will be expanded through combined efforts for the welfare of our countries and nations,” as stated in the congratulatory message of the President of the Republic of Armenia.
