Central Bank sells USD 2 million at rate of AMD 468.08
16:32, 27 December 2014YEREVAN, 27 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. The Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia held its 17th dollar auction. As the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Central Ban of the Republic of Armenia reports to “ArmenPress”, the Central Bank sold USD 2 million at an average exchange rate of AMD 468.08 for USD 1, and the marginal rate was AMD 467.25 for USD 1.
On December, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26, the Central Bank sold USD 2 million on each day. In the first week of auctions declared on 8 December, USD 6 million was sold. In the second week starting from 15 December, the CB reduced the amount of dollars to 4 million, and this week it is selling USD 2 million a day.
