YEREVAN, 26 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. On the occasion of the holidays, President Serzh Sargsyan hosted today a reception for mass media representatives at the presidential residence. As the Department of Public Relations and Mass Media of the Structure of the Office to the President of the Republic of Armenia reports to “ArmenPress”, Serzh Sargsyan congratulated the participating journalists on the upcoming holidays and wished them and all media representatives of Armenia health, success and a year of peace and happiness. 

“Dear journalists and media representatives, I cordially congratulate you on the holidays. We all had a heavy workload this year. Today, I express my gratitude to you and the journalistic community for the professional and coordinated efforts that the majority of Armenian media outlets made on the line of contact in August and on the days following the downing by Azerbaijan of an Armenian helicopter in November. The same goes for the efforts made during the latest incidents in relation to the devaluation of the Armenian Dram. I thank you. With that working style, you do more than just provide news in a literate manner. I have had occasions to discuss with many of you the delicacies of our joint efforts. We’re approaching a new year during which I believe we’ll still be working very hard. We have a lot of work to do, and I’m certain that we’ll do it openly, transparently and efficiently. I congratulate all journalists and media representatives of Armenia. I’m certain that the year 2015 will be year of cooperation and advancement. May the New Year be a year of success for you all! May it be a year of peace and happiness for all our families! Happy New Year and Merry Christmas!” President Serzh Sargsyan said in his congratulatory message addressed to media representatives during the festive reception held at the presidential residence.
