YEREVAN, DECEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS. It has been already the third day that the Armenian Presidential Residence is full of children’s laughter, festive games, songs and dances. This time the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan hosted the children and grandchildren of soldiers and perished freedom fighters. Children with physical and mental disabilities participated in the event for the first time. Actors of the National Academic Theater after G. Sundukyan introduced a theatrical performance for the children.

The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and the First Lady Rita Sargsyan honored the event with their presence. The President congratulated the children on the New Year and Christmas and noted that the children are our future and all our hopes are connected with them.

Among other things, the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan underscored: “I am very glad that you bid farewell to the current year with songs, dances, and games. Your joy gives new breath to this building and these walls, which will remain here for a very long time. Always keep in mind that everything will be good, we’ll manage to complete everything successfully, but we must do it with joy and love.”
