YEREVAN, 22 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. On the occasion of New Year and Christmas, the presidential residence hosted a reception for representatives of Armenia’s business community today on behalf of the President of the Republic of Armenia. Serzh Sargsyan congratulated the businessmen on the upcoming holidays, conveyed his good wishes and wished them success in their businesses and in their personal lives, emphasizing that their successes and achievements will be the successes and achievements of the businessmen and their companies, but those of the country and the economy. The level of welfare of hundreds of thousands of citizens of the Republic of Armenia will be conditioned by the activities and achievements of the Armenian business community. 

As the Department of Public Relations and Mass Media of the Structure of the Office to the President of the Republic of Armenia reports to “ArmenPress”, in his speech, the President of the Republic of Armenia touched upon the year 2014, which was a year of many difficulties. The President also mentioned that even though there will be more difficulties and uncertainties next year for different reasons, Armenia’s authorities and businessmen must work together, with vigor and as perfectly as possible to do whatever they can do on their part. The President also touched upon the economy of the passing year. “Taking into consideration the context in which you were and the economic situation in all parts of the world, including in Europe, in Russia and in our region, we can say that there was economic efficiency in the passing year,” Serzh Sargsyan mentioned.
