The yearend reception hosted by Armenia’s Ministry of Justice was marked by the granting of awards to media representatives in different categories. “ArmenPress” Armenian News Agency received a Certificate of Appreciation for the most operative coverage. Minister Hovhannes Manukyan attached importance to work with the media, promised to be more open in the future and added that the ministry wouldn’t set restrictions and would be grateful to journalists for their “sharp eyes”. “We’re trying not to discriminate and are trying to engage all media outlets in the more or less important events. We’re also trying to be as open and transparent as possible. I would like for us to be more tolerant when it comes to our words, actions and evaluations,” the minister said.
