Armenian Genocide Commemoration ceremonies to be held in 28 provinces of Turkey

YEREVAN, 20 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. Turkey’s Human Rights Foundation will be holding events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in 28 provinces. As “ArmenPress” reports, citing Istanbul’s Agos Weekly, the events will be held with the title “Initiative against Denial Ahead of the 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide”.
Several organizations from Turkey and other countries will be preparing for the events. Among those organizations are Turkey’s New Renaissance, Zan Institute, the working group of the Greens and Left Party of the Future for confronting the past, the Komitas Institute of London, France’s Collectif Van, the Armenian Council of Europe and Assyrian activists.
