Kazakh Senate ratifies treaty on Armenia's accession to EEU

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 19, ARMENPRESS: The Kazakh Senate on December 19 adopted the law "On ratification of the treaty on accession of the Republic of Armenia to the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty”. The document was sent to the Head of State for signing, after which it will come into force.
The presidents of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia signed the treaty on Armenia's entry into the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty as of May 29, 2014 in Minsk on October 10, 2014.
As National Economy Minister of Kazakhstan Yerbolat Dossayev said representing the bill, Armenia will become the EEU member from the date of the entry of the treaty into force. Besides, Armenia will accept obligations covered by the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union as of May 29, 2014 and the legal base of the Customs Union and Single Economic Space.
The draft law is aimed at creating conditions for ensuring four freedoms, namely, free movement of goods, capital, services and man power.
