U.S. dollar rate drops, dram stabilizes

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 17, ARMENPRESS: The U.S. dollar rate began dropping in the banks and exchange units of Armenia. On December 17 the rate decreased by 13,03 drams, making on average 511,57. By the way, the minimum price of the dollar sale has been defined by the banks to be 499 and the maximum – 530. It is worth mentioning that yesterday the dram devaluated by more than 25 drams and in the morning the banks bought the dollar for 550,38 drams.
Armenpress reports that the sale rate of euro reduced today by 26,30 drams. The banks buy euro on average for 569,29 drams and sell for 636,60 drams.
In comparison with yesterday, the Russia’s ruble rate has increased by 0,34 drams. The banks buy the ruble on average for 7,71 drams and sell for 9,17.
