Guide summing up Armenian Genocide arguments released

YEREVAN, 17 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. The “Neighbors: A Look from Armenia” conference is over. As the Public Relations Service of the Youth Foundation of Armenia reports to “ArmenPress”, the December 15-17 conference was organized by the Scientific-Analytical Center for Regional Events with the support of the Program for Support to Young Scientists, the Youth Foundation of Armenia, the School for Young Leaders, the Armenian Assembly of America and the State Management Academy of the Republic of Armenia. During the conference, the experts touched upon the events that have taken place in Artsakh, the developments of the ISIL terrorist group and the developments in the Arab World, as well as the legal and political aspects of the policy of denial of the Armenian Genocide.

On December 17, on the day marking the end of the conference, Director of the School for Young Leaders, Turkologist Artak Shakaryan presented his book entitled “Guide for a Young Ambassador: Arguments about the Armenian Genocide”. The book was printed within the frames of the grant contest declared by the Youth Foundation of Armenia as a partnering organization of the President of the Republic of Armenia. In essence, the book touches upon the issue of the Armenian Genocide and briefly presents what the Republic of Armenia officially demands from Turkey as reparations.
