The issuing of U.S. entry visas under a facilitated visa regime will be for the wide layers of citizens of the Republic of Armenia, including businessmen, tourists, students and scholars. This is what press speaker of Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tigran Balayan reported to “ArmenPress”. “The Republic of Armenia has established a visa-free regime for U.S. citizens. The regime will enter into force following the day of official promulgation and will be in effect starting on January 1, 2015,” Balayan said.

Earlier, during a government session, Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandyan had announced that the U.S. will start issuing a multi-entry visa for the wide layers of citizens for a 10-year period. The U.S. will soon start issuing entry visas under a facilitated visa regime.
