YEREVAN, 28 NOVEMBER, ARMENPRESS. There won’t be a transition to a common currency within the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union just yet. This is what Armenia’s Deputy Minister of Finance Suren Karayan announced in response to Deputy of the RPA faction Vahram Mkrtchyan during a discussion on the treaty of Armenia’s accession to the EEU at the session of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Issues of the National Assembly. “There is no issue on the transition to a common currency at the moment. That issue wasn’t discussed during the negotiations,” Karayan mentioned, according to “ArmenPress”.
Karayan reported that the EEU member states will discuss that issue and many other issues after 2020.
