YEREVAN, 27 NOVEMBER, ARMENPRESS. The authorities have never avoided holding discussions with the non-governmental forces and are ready for dialogue. This is what head of the RPA faction of the National Assembly Vahram Baghdasaryan said during a press conference at the National Assembly. “We have never avoided any discussion. If they want to discuss the 10^th point of the 12 points in relation to making amendments to the electoral code, they can come and discuss with us,” Vahram Baghdasaryan mentioned and reminded that Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan has already announced that the authorities are ready to discuss the issue of making the transition to a 100 percent proportional electoral system.

The head of the RPA faction also noted that the non-governmental forces aren’t raising the issues in order to start discussing them, but to have the authorities reject them. “But we’re not rejecting them. We’re telling them to come and discuss with us,” Baghdasaryan mentioned.
