Digitalization of broadcasting in Armenia enters final stage

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS: Armenia fully passes to the digital broadcasting. By July 10 2015, 64 broadcasting TV stations, functioning in the Republic of Armenia, will be completely reequipped, 150 new tower stations will be built and put to operation.
“The digitalization process of the TV and radio broadcasting system has entered the final stage. The Republic adopted the European DVB-T2 format as a digital television standard”, - said the Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Armenia Gagik Beglaryan, Armenpress reports.
