Syunik Regional Council has already made its donation
21:40, 25 November 2014KAPAN, 25 NOVEMBER, ARMENPRESS. Although the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund’s annual Telethon is set for November 27th, the Syunik Regional Council has already made its donation by transferring AMD 942,000 to the Fund.
As Head of the Department of Information of Public Relations of the Regional Council Lusine Marutyan reports to “ArmenPress”, Head of Syunik region Surik Khachatryan has transferred his monthly salary to the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund. This year’s donations will be used to continue construction of the Vardenis-Martakert highway and to end asphalting the 14 km long road of the highway stretching across Armenia. Alongside the Goris-Stepanakert highway opened in 1996, the Vardenis-Martakert highway will also link Armenia to Artsakh.
