YEREVAN, 25 NOVEMBER, ARMENPRESS. The 19^th session of the Council of Heads of State Media of CIS countries kicked off in Yerevan.  The heads of state media of Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan discussed the paths for partnership between news agencies, the creation of opportunities, the training of specialists and the exchange of experiences. General Director of “ArmenPress” News Agency Aram Ananyan emphasized that the news agency has three key topics for next year. “Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union will be the agency’s key topic since accession to the EEU is very important for the country and the society. The second key topic will be devoted to the 100^th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. There will be many articles devoted to this next year since they aren’t against, but for the prevention of crimes against humanity. The events devoted to the 70^th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War and the publication of materials devoted to that are also among the items on the news agency’s agenda,” Aram Ananyan said, adding that the news agency will also be presenting the views of people who have seen and have triumphed in the Great Patriotic War.

Cooperation, stability and security-these are the priorities for the national news agency of Kazakhstan. “The strengthening of humanitarian ties, as well as effective cooperation in sports, culture, science and education are important,” General Director of Kazinfo News Agency Dauren Diyarov emphasized.

Head of the Information-Analysis Department of the CIS Executive Committee Alexander Zavarzin emphasized that the Department is planning large-scale events dedicated to the 70^th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The Russian TASS News Agency plans on organizing a joint exhibition with the national news agencies of the CIS countries and present photos of the Great Patriotic War. There will also be a book.
