Seyran Ohanyan and French Ambassador discuss regional security issues
18:57, 25 November 2014YEREVAN, 25 NOVEMBER, ARMENPRESS. On November 25, Armenia’s Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to the Republic of Armenia Jean-Francois Charpentier.
As the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia reports to “ArmenPress”, the Defense Minister congratulated Ambassador Charpentier on his accreditation to the Republic of Armenia and wished him success.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the Armenian-French cooperation in the defense sector and issues related to security in the region. Armenia’s Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan provided Ambassador Charpentier with details on the November 12 helicopter downing by Azerbaijan’s Armed Forces and the operations following the helicopter downing.
