Armenia may be the first among CIS countries to stop HIV epidemic by 2020

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS: Armenia has registered the best results among the Eastern Europe and Central Asia countries in the fight against the AIDS. “Knowing about the statistical data that you have registered, one can only be proud. In case of continuing that way, in five years it will be possible to fully prevent the epidemic”, - said theGoodwill Ambassador for the UN HIV/AIDS Joint Program (UNAIDS) in Eastern Europe and Central Asia Vera Brezhneva, being in Armenia for the first time, at the meeting with the Minister of Health of Armenia Armen Muradyan, Armenpress reports.
