Media should serve to strengthening of mutual understanding between nations: Viktor Chamara

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS: The cooperation between the representatives of the mass media is quite important for the organization of a dialogue and strengthening of the mutual understanding between the nations. The Secretary General of the Association Viktor Chamara stated about it at the 7th session of the General Assembly of the Black Sea Association of National News Agencies, held in Yerevan. According to him, the news agencies have an important mission for the development of the ties between the nations.
"We should understand each other from the half word and activate the contacts between our nations. For that purpose we should develop the ties with each other and organize mutual visits and create the opportunity so that a journalist from one agency could work for some time with his colleagues and get acquainted with their work", - said Chamara, Armenpress reports.
