U.S. State Department aware that Azerbaijan refused OSCE representatives access to
downed helicopter's site

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS. The U.S. State Department is aware of the fact that the OSCE representative was refused access to the downed helicopter’s site. The United States would refer to them for further details, but clearly, the U.S. sees a need to find a peaceful resolution in Nagorno-Karabakh. As reports "Armenpress", the State Department spokesman Jeff Rathke stated this.

Among other things, the State Department spokesman Jeff Rathke underscored: "Well, we are of course following the operation to recover the bodies of three crew members killed in the November 12th downing of a military helicopter along the line of contact. This incident and the subsequent violence underscores once again the need to find a peaceful resolution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and we urge all sides to show restraint and avoid actions that would increase tensions along the line of contact. And we also urge the sides to refocus their efforts to negotiate a peaceful and lasting settlement to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. As a co-chair of the Minsk Group, the United States remains ready to assist."

Previously it was reported that taking into consideration the official statements by the Azerbaijani side and the absolute lack of reasoning, the Armed Forces of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic were forced to carry out a special operation to learn about the fate of the crew members of the helicopter downed by the rival on November 12 on the site and give solution to issues stemming from it. In the result of the realization of the military task, the body of one of the crew members and remains of the two pilots have been evacuated from the site of the incident along with some of the necessary parts of the helicopter. At the course of the special operation, two askyars of the rival have been eliminated. The Defense Army had no casualties.
