1915: Serj Tankian writes music to Armenian Genocide movie

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS: The American rock singer and composer of Armenian origin, the soloist of the alternative metal-rock band Serj Tankian writes music to the movie 1915, devoted to the centennial of the Armenian Genocide. The directors and writers of the psychological thriller are Garin Hovhannisyan and Alec Mouhibian.
Armenpress reports that the official Facebook page of the movie informs that the Grammy Prize winner Serj Tankian will perform as the film composer, writing music for the movie 1915. “1915 is an incredible feature film, full of brainstorm, depth, uncertainty and a certain magic, at the same time remaining illustrative and rare modern phenomenon in nowadays films. I get pleasure, creating a music world for it”, - he wrote.
The psychological thriller 1915 presents the most horrible events of the modern history. The film follows the controversial mission of a man, who wishes to bring to life the forgotten souls of the Genocide.
Imdb.com website informs that the premiere of the movie will take place in Los Angeles, California on April 24 2015. The main actors of the movie are Simon Abkarian (Simon), Sam Page (James) and Angela Sarafyan (Angela).
