YEREVAN, OCTOBER 31, ARMENPRESS: President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received today Nikolay Rizhkov, the Russian Co-Chairman of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation between Armenia and Russia, and the delegation headed by him, President’s Press Office informed Armenpress.

The President welcomed the guests and expressed confidence that the outcome of the Yerevan session of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee will promote strengthening of the high-level Armenian-Russian strategic cooperation. Serzh Sargsyan highly assessed Nikolay Rizhkov’s personal contribution to development of allied relations between Armenia and Russia and deepening of inter-parliamentary ties.

Nikolay Rizhkov thanked President Sargsyan for the warm reception and words. He stressed that up-to-date and important issues aimed at enhancing the high-level interstate cooperation are discussed during the sessions of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee held in Yerevan and Moscow.
