Government forecasted how Armenia’s affiliation to EEU will influence state budget: Davit
Harutyunyan

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 29, ARMENPRESS: It will be possible to speak about changes in the Republic of Armenia state budget only when Armenia becomes a full member of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). Minister-Chief of Government Staff Davit Harutyunyan told journalists at the National Assembly referring to EEU-Armenian budget connection. “I assure you that the government has made forecasts and studies on how Armenia’s affiliation to EEU will influence the state budget,” noted Davit Harutyunyan.

The Eurasian Economic Union also known as the Eurasian Union, is a political and economic union which was established by a treaty signed on 29 May 2014 between the leaders of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia. A treaty to enlarge the EEU to Armenia was signed on October 9, 2014. The Union will officially go into effect on 1 January 2015.  Armenia signed the agreement on joining the EEU on October 10 during the Minsk summit.
