YEREVAN, OCTOBER 9, ARMENPRESS: Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met today with Qazvin Mayor Masoud Nosrati and the official delegation headed by him. Qazvi Mayor is in Yerevan to participate in “Erebuni-Yerevan 2796” celebrations, Yerevan Municipality’s press service informed Armenpress.

Yerevan Mayor thanked Masoud Nosrati for admitting the invitation to participate in Yerevan Holiday and highlighted the centuries-long friendship between Iran and Armenia.

In his turn, the Qazvin Mayor thanked for warm reception and congratulating his Yerevan counterpart on the holiday, briefly presented Qazvin’s history and priorities of its governing. He expressed readiness to do everything possible to strengthen the ties between Yerevan and Qazvin.

Wrapping up the meeting, Taron Margaryan and Masoud Nosrati signed a memorandum of understanding, according to which the sides agreed to strengthen and develop the friendly relations between Yerevan and Qazvin.
