Match in Armenia is very hard for any team: Dick Advocaat

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 3, ARMENPRESS: National Football Team of Armenia will hold the second match of Euro-2016 qualifying stage in the homeland. In some days, Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium will host Armenia-Serbia match. In an interview with Armenpress, the press service of Chief Coach of National Team of Serbia Dick Advocaat presents the coache’s expectations from the match with Armenia.

 - What are your expectations from the upcoming game between Serbia and Armenia in October?

-I hope that Serbia will have a good start. Match in Armenia is very hard for any team, will be also for us, but this is a new start and I am looking positive on that. In front of us are eight "finals" and first one will be in Armenia, which is very important.

- Are you familiar with Armenian national team and what can you tell about it?

-I think that Armenian team is very well organized. They have strong defense and can wait for a chance from counterattack. Their players are so concentrate and take care about all details.

- Are there players in the Armenian team that you would instruct your players to pay special attention on and if so who are they?

I always speak about team, not individuals. Also, in my focus is our team, but of course that we make analyses of all characteristics of Armenian team.

- In your opinion who are the favorites of the Group and what chances does your team have?

Even that they lost first home match against Albania, for me Portugal is still favorite No. 1. I believe that Serbia will qualify on EURO. On that way, we must always take a look on each opponent, because this group is so tough.
