A group of Azerbaijanis raised protest in PACE against their Foreign Minister
17:39, 2 October 2014YEREVAN, OCTOBER 2, ARMENPRESS: A group of Azerbaijani political emigrants raised a protest in the building of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) during the speech of Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammedyarov, Armenpress reports citing the Azerbaijani Haqqin.az.
The demonstrators with red shirts depicting political prisoners demanded from the Azerbaijani authorities to release the Azerbaijani intellectuals and activists who have been arrested for their political views.
During his October 2 speech from the PACE chair, Elmar Mammedyarov stated that there are no political prisoners in the country, and all those who are today behind bars, have been arrested for committing true crimes.
