Armenia’s PM highlights genocide denial criminalizing steps by France

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 22, ARMENPRESS: The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan hosted the delegation of the France-Armenia friendship group of the France Senate, headed by Philippe Kaltenbach. The Department for Mass Media and Public Relations of the Government of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that welcoming the guests at the government, Hovik Abrahamyan highlighted the further development and deepening of the Armenian-French relations in different spheres.
“We welcome your visit to Armenia. It will contribute to the strengthening and expansion of the Armenian-French high level cooperation in the political, economic and other fields. The friendly relations between Armenia and France are of great importance”, - said the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan.
The PM expressed his gratitude to Philippe Kaltenbach for the presentation of the history of the Armenian Genocide in different international platforms. Hovik Abrahamyan stressed the importance of the genocide denial criminalizing steps implemented by France.
