Armenian to be taught in Charles University of Prague

PRAGUE, SEPTEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS: The rector, professor of the Charles University of Prague Tomáš Zima and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to the Czech Republic Tigran Seyranyan signed an agreement on September 16 on teaching Armenian language, culture and history since the academic years of 2014-2015 at the Charles University.  
The festive ceremony was held at the Reception Hall of the Charles University and after signing the agreement the sides exchanged ideas over the further cooperation. According to the agreement, the government of the Republic of Armenia has allocated about $10,000 to start the courses. The Armenian courses will be taught at the Eastern European Studies Department of the Faculty of Philosophy at the Charles University.
