Aliyev agrees for tripartite meeting: French Ambassador

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS: The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev agreed to meet with the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on the invitation by the French President. Armenpress reports that the Ambassador of France to Azerbaijan Pascal Monnier told Haqqin.az about it.
He stated that the meeting will take place in the second half of October. According to Monnier, at the meeting the presidents will discuss the Nagorno Karabakh conflict issue and the peaceful settlement of the conflict. The Ambassador expressed hope that after the meeting of the presidents of the two countries in Wales, the forthcoming meeting will have an important significance.
“As an OSCE Minsk Group co-chair country, France does its best for the peaceful settlement of the conflict and believes that it is high time to settle the problem”, - said the Ambassador of France to Azerbaijan Pascal Monnier, again stressing that the settlement of the conflict depends on the presidents of the two countries and the OSCE MG co-chairs should only help them to find a solution in that issue.
