Kerry to discuss Armenia issue in Turkey

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 12, ARMENPRESS: Among other things the US Secretary of State John Kerry may discuss the issues related to Armenia and the Armenian-Turkish relations in the framework of the meetings with the officials in Ankara, Turkey. Armenpress reports that the Turkish Aksam periodical informs that the US Secretary of State has already met the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu. The Minister told the journalists that in the framework of Kerry’s visit they expect discussing issues related to Cyprus, Armenia and Ukraine.
The US Secretary of State John Kerry stated that with his NATO partner Turkey, he will discuss the events taking place in the Middle East region.
After the meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, John Kerry will meet also the President and the Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Ahmet Davutoglu.
