YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 11, ARMENPRESS. The regional conference of the international organizations combating against drugs will enable to discuss once more the imminent dangers and threats of the drug business for international community elevating the level of the fight against illegal turnover of drugs. As “Armenpress” reports, Chief of the President’s Staff Vigen Sargsyan mentioned about this during the conference held in Yerevan on September 11.

Vigen Sargsyan expressed gratitude to the United States Embassy in Armenia and to U.S. Justice Department for the initiative. “The illegal turnover of drugs is a serious threat to the security of the international community, the struggle against which requires enormous human and financial resources and joint efforts of states, in which Armenia also sees its significant role. Our country's political leadership, headed by President Serzh Sargsyan, pays special attention to the fight against illegal turnover of drugs and takes the necessary steps to prevent and neutralize it,” he said. The Chief of the President’s Staff also presented the works implemented in our country against the illegal turnover of drugs.
