STEPANAKERT, AUGUST 29, ARMENPRESS. In connection with the 23rd anniversary of the Artsakh Republic proclamation President Bako Sahakyan signed decrees on decorating with state awards and conferring honorary titles.     

The Central Information Department of the Office of the President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic informed “Armenpress” that for exclusive bravery and personal courage shown during the defense of the Motherland two individuals were posthumously awarded with the Battle Cross Order of the second degree.

For personal bravery shown during the defense of the Motherland four individuals were awarded with the Medal "For Courage".

For contribution to the defense of the Motherland, as well as for courage shown defending state borders 83 individuals, among them seven posthumously, were awarded with the "For Service in Battle" medal.

For services shown to the Nagorno Karabagh Republic four individuals were awarded with the "Mkhitar Gosh" medal, four people were decorated with the "Vachagan Barepasht" medal and twenty six individuals were awarded the "Gratitude" medal.

For substantial contribution to the development of culture, art and physical culture NKR honorary titles were conferred to a group of individuals.
