Resolution supporting Karabakh's independence to be voted upon at CA State Senate
10:57, 27 August 2014YEREVAN, AUGUST 27, ARMENPRESS. The AJR32 resolution supporting Karabakh’s independence will be voted upon at the California’s State Senate today on August 27. The Armenian National Committee of America urged the Armenians of California to send an email to their Senators and demand that they vote YES on AJR 32.
On May 8, 2014, the CA Assembly passed the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic legislation by a resounding vote of 72-1. This was the first time such a measure was adopted in the history of the CA Legislature.
The resolution has now moved to the CA State Senate for consideration and is scheduled for a full floor vote on August 27, 2014.
