More than 50 churches are under control of Turkey's funds department
14:06, 26 August 2014YEREVAN, AUGUST 26, ARMENPRESS. 56 churches belonging to 52 Armenian funds are under the control of Turkey’s general department on funds. As “Armenpress” reports citing Turkish Sondakika.com website, in response to Deputy from Nationalist Movement Party Ozjan Yenicher’s question the Deputy Prime Minister Emrullah Isler said this data.
Among other things, he stated that 115 churches belonging to 74 Greek funds, 47 synagogues belonging to 18 Jewish funds and 42 churches belonging to other communities are also under the control of Turkey’s general department on funds.
