Serzh Sargsyan received Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili
YEREVAN, AUGUST 22, ARMENPRESS. President Serzh Sargsyan received today Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili who is on an official visit to the Republic of Armenia. As "Armenpress" was informed from the Department of Public Relations and Mass Media of the President's Office, President Sargsyan welcomed Irakli Gharibashvili’s first visit to the Republic of Armenia in the status of Prime Minister, highlighting mutual visits of high-level delegations for strengthening interstate relations, which, as Serzh Sargsyan believes, are a good opportunity to quickly respond to various issues of the rich agenda existing in Armenian-Georgian bilateral relations. The President of Armenia expressed desire to make such visits more frequent.
Serzh Sargsyan stressed that the Armenian-Georgian relations are historically on their highest level, and it gives an opportunity to discuss quietly, at ease any issue related not only to bilateral relations, but also regional problems.
Thanking for the warm reception, the Georgian Prime Minister said that he had arrived in Armenia to assure once again his deep respect for the Republic of Armenia, Armenia’s President and the Armenian people, for the sake of further strengthening and upgrading the Armenian-Georgian relations.
