Georgia's PM arrives in Armenia
YEREVAN, AUGUST 21, ARMENPRESS. The delegation led by the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili has arrived in Armenia. As reports “Armenpress”, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan welcomed his Georgian counterpart in the Zvartnots Airport. According to the protocol, the Prime Ministers welcomed the members of the delegations. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maia Panjikidze, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Georgia Kakha Kaladze, and other officials are in the delegation led by Irakli Garibashvili.
It is considered that within the framework of the visit the Georgian PM will have meetings with the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Galust Sahakyan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan, and other high ranking officials.
Also, the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili will visit the Tzitzernakaberd Memorial to pay tribute to the Armenian Genocide victims’ memory. Irakli Garibashvili will visit Matenadaran as well.
The Prime Ministers of Armenia and Georgia will make a statement in the Press Centre of the Government of the Republic of Armenia on August 21.
